You can't get more original. Go for it. When people find your site, it is so out of the norm. they'll have to stay a while and see what it's all about. Personally I like the napkin - another querky feature (just like Shaners) but not overpowering. How about ticker tape for the navigation bar. You remember those little dial things that punched the letters onto a thin coloured plastic tape. How about the side menu bar designed like flyers or something.
