Embed flash video into a wordpress post trial and error

I’m still trying to trying to embed a flash video into a Wordpress post. Seems like the problem I was having embedding flash videos previously was having Xinha for WP plug-in turned on. My last post covered embedding you tube videos into wordpress
So what I did was turn it off de-activated it in the plug-ins options.
I then went to my profile and turned on the visual editor again, you have to un-check that box when using Xinha. Or it just munges up the html. Maybe this is what not letting me embed a flash movie in the first place. Hmm I wonder if I went and read the support documentation for Xinha if there is anything there about embedding flash movies. I’ll get back to you on this…
The Flash plug-in I’m using to embed the flash movie is WP-FLV.
Then it was just a matter of using the flv tag code to embed the video , or flash embed code. <flv href="http://www.yourdomain.com/movie.flv" autostart="true" / I just wonder if after I publish this post and then go back to having Xinha re-activated if this post will remain as is. I guess we’ll find out huh!!!
